A center for distributing donations for refugees will open on Thursday in Chisinau’s Riscani district, in the building that previously housed the Lukoil movie theater. Representatives of placement centers can pick up the donations, as well as refugees directly.

All the donations come from members of the public, foreign embassies or the City Hall’s partners. They include clothing and bedding, food and hygiene products, said Mayor Ion Ceban.

Humanitarian aid is being distributed at the exhibition center Moldexpo as well. Beneficiaries are asked to present their passports confirming their citizenship and the date of entry into Moldova after February 24.
