The Central Election Commission (CEC) revoked the decisions concurring the holding of a referendum on the dismissal of the mayor of Dancu village of Hâncești district that was arranged for July 11, IPN reports.

The Commission took note of the Chisinau City Appeals Court’s judgment of June 24 and decided to revoke the decisions on the holding of the local referendum. The Appeals Court annulled the decisions by which the Dancu Village Council initiated the local plebiscite

The referendum was started by a group of citizens.
