Reducing roaming charges is a priority to be deepened in our cooperation with the European Union. The statement of the Foreign Affairs Minister Nicu Popescu was made at the Ministerial Conference organized on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the Eastern Partnership (EaP), in the context of mentioning the energy areas, digital market and transport among the development directions of the Republic of Moldova within EaP, reports IPN.
"Eastern Partnership has already brought many benefits, but we must work according to an agenda that will open new horizons for cooperation and integration with the European Union," stressed Nicu Popescu, according to a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration.
The minister has mentioned that the Republic of Moldova has made a lot of progress in the field of merchandise trade. "At the next stage of our dialogue with European partners, we should focus on developing cooperation in the field of services," pointed out Minister Nicu Popescu in the panel dedicated to the future of the EaP.
The event was attended by foreign ministers from Moldova, Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Belarus.
