Starting with August 9, the persons who will cross the state border to enter the Republic of Moldova and come directly or in transit from 72 states will have to self-isolate for 14 days. The Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection approved the list of states for which a self-isolation regime is imposed on entry into the Republic of Moldova.
Officials of the Ministry stated for IPN that the previous list was supplemented with the following countries: Belarus, Belgium, Denmark, Switzerland, France, Georgia, Greece, Ireland, Iceland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, the UK, the Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Turkey, the United States.
The list was updated in accordance with a decision adopted by the National Extraordinary Public Health Commission on July 17 this year.
The list is updated once in seven days on Friday and takes effect on Monday next week. It includes the states where the cumulative number of new cases of COVID-19 the past 14 days is higher than 100 cases per 100,000 people.
The persons who come to Moldova directly or in transit from the 72 states for which a sell-isolation regime is imposed will mandatorily fill out the epidemiological form and will sign an own responsibility statement by which they will undertake to self-isolate for 14 days.
