On the occasion of the winter holidays, the circus and theaters of Chisinau are preparing recreational programs for children. The first performances start this Sunday, December 15, IPN reports.

The Review Theater “Ginta Latina” Sunday goes on a tour of Moldova with the music performance “A Winter Tale” that includes such known fairytale characters as the Puss-in-Boot, the fox, the cock, the goat and her three kids, the Little Red Riding Hood, Pacala and Tandala and other heroes of the national folklore, said the theater’s press officer Zinaida Tarna.

Gabriela Lungu, director of the Municipal Puppet Theater “Guguta”, said that from December 21 the children are invited to the performance titled “They say it happened once”, inspired by the tales of Ion Creanga and by people’s traditions. The performance is organized by Aurelia Verde. The viewers will take part in a tale with Santa Claus, Snow White, surprises, fireworks, dances and presents for everyone. Performances will be given on December 21, 22, 18 and 29.

The National Puppet Theater “Licurici” is waiting for children at the Christmas tree, together with Santa Claus, Snow White, Water Snake and many famous tale characters. The little spectators will be able to see a performance of carols, recreational games, poems and jokes starting with December 21. The performances will be both in Romanian and Russian.

Though the Chisinau circus is closed, the artists prepared a holiday program with equilibristic stunts, animal shows, jugglery, and illusionism. The performances will take place at Moldexpo between December 25 and January 15.
