A recreational area with four arbors and a parking lot with a capacity of over 40 places were built in Bursuc village of Nisporeni district near the Hancu Monastery. For the purpose, the National Regional Development Fund has allocated 1.5 million lei. The construction works were performed as part of the project “Tourist route in nine communities, creation of opportunities to invest in tourism”, IPN reports.
Mayor of Bursuc Victor Rusu said this investment project will help improve the recreational conditions of the locals and will increase the comforts for tourists who come to visit the monastery located nearby.
Within the same project, a museum was renovated in Rusestii Noi village of Ialoveni district. Works to set up a recreational area in Ulmu village of the same district will be initiated in the course of this year.
The project was launched in 2015 and is to be completed in 2017.
