The number of new cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Moldova today, June 17, hit a record high of 478. As many as 1,943 tests were done today and 1,659 of them were primary ones, IPN reports, with reference to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection.
“We have a large number of patients in a serious state – 417. Of them, 23 were connected to mechanical ventilation. Regrettably, we also have ten cases of death today, with the total number of casualties rising to 433,” said secretary of state Konstantin Rymish.
The infections with the novel coronavirus confirmed in Moldova so far total 12,732.
