Officers of the Security and Intelligence Service discovered a record quantity of anabolic steroids at the Chisinau International Airport. According to preliminary reports, the preparations were to be smuggled abroad by unidentified persons, IPN reports.

According to the Security and Intelligence Service, two days ago there were found 15 postal sacks with almost 400 parcels camouflaged as books and publicity products. These contained anabolic steroids for athletes made in clandestine labs in Moldova. The consignment was assessed at hundreds of thousands of euros.

The Service warns the bodybuilders to avoid taking medical preparations that weren’t certificated appropriately as these can be harmful and can endanger their lives.
