The National House of Social Insurance (CNAS) continues to finance social welfare. It recently allocated 4.6 million lei for paying unemployment benefit. 61.2 million lei was allocated for social assistance, 107.7 million lei for cold-month allowances, while 50 million lei for pensions and social benefits.

In a press release, the CNAS says the recipients of temporary incapacity for work, pensions, allocations, life-long allowances paid to professional athletes, one-off payments, compensations, death benefit, financial support and allowances intended for families with children can collect the money from banks or post offices, regardless of the place of domicile.

Since the start of March, the CNAS has transferred 1.942,7 billion lei for paying social welfare.
