The families that benefit from social welfare will be provided free with convertors for digital television, IPN reports, with reference to a Government decision. Applications can be submitted to the local social assistance division between March 1 and May 5 this year.
By tender contests, the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure will purchase convertors and will choose the operator that will distribute these at the local level, in accordance with the presented lists.
It is planned to supply 72,000 families with convertors.
