The Government approved a bill that entitles Moldovan citizens who are recipients of civilian decorations, awards and other honors of Moldova – such as the Order of the Republic or the Stephen the Great Order – to benefits regardless of whether they live in Moldova or not.

The cost of implementing the draft law is about 74,000 lei for 113 Moldovans who currently, according to CNAS, live outside the borders of the Republic of Moldova and are eligible for such benefits.

The costs are included in the 2022 State Budget.
