However, the Minister didn’t disclose any names, Info-Prim Neo reports. “We are working on it. As I have promised last time, I come up with proposals, I investigate, I talk to people and then these people are employed”, explained Dorin Recean. Prime Minister Vlad Filat requested on Wednesday, August 1, that Minister of the Interior Dorin Recean came up with a candidate for the positions of head of the Border Police until the next meeting of the Government. Two weeks ago, the Prime Minister sacked Roman Revenco. The dismissal comes after the former head of the Border Police was accused by a businessman of asking an illegal payoff from a EU-funded project to enhance border security.
