Recean: As anticipated, Gazprom will resume gas supplies to the Dniester region

Prime Minister Dorin Recean says that, as he has anticipated since the beginning of this humanitarian and security crisis on the left bank of the Dniester, the Russian concern Gazprom will resume gas deliveries. According to the Prime Minister, the Kremlin regime has been mercilessly keeping people in the Transnistrian region in cold and darkness because it wants a pro-Russian administration in Chisinau and to create destabilization in the country, IPN reports.

Dorin Recean told the press that the government has come out and made it clear what will be the course of this crisis artificially induced by Russia through Gazprom. According to the Prime Minister, it is already clear that Gazprom will deliver gas in a smaller quantity, sufficient only for the left bank and insufficient for the right bank to have access to cheaper energy.

"Consistent to push us into an escalation scenario, into a conflict scenario. This is exactly what the Kremlin wants. Chisinau will not accept this game, these tricks. It is important for us to maintain peace and security. And Chisinau will take those actions that are necessary to ensure peace and security," the head of the executive said.

The Prime Minister believes that Russia's objective is destabilization in the region, which has already happened, destabilization in the Security Zone, then destabilization throughout the country. "As the ultimate goal is a pro-Russian administration in Chisinau. And this will facilitate the growth and consolidation of Russia's military presence on the left bank of the Dniester," says Dorin Recean.

According to him, Chisinau could take radical actions in relation to some, but this does not help to solve the fundamental problem, which will be solved when the Russian troops will be withdrawn from the territory of the Republic of Moldova and the country will be reintegrated, and this is the goal.

Tiraspol leader Vadim Krasnoselski, back from the Russian Federation, announced today that Russian gas deliveries to the Transnistrian region would be resumed in the form of humanitarian aid, but did not specify the exact date when this would happen. Krasnoselski denied, as before, that he had any offers of help from Chisinau to get out of the energy crisis in the region after gas supplies were cut off on January 1.
