Realitatea-Catavencu trust to enter Moldovan media market

The Romanian media group Realitatea-Catavencu intends to launch a TV channel in Moldova. The decision was announced by the trust’ president Emil Hurezeanu, the Romanian agency Hotnews said, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. “In the near future, the group will start preparations for opening a national television channel in Moldova – an operation that will use the resources from this country, but which is based on the experience that we have gained,” it is said in an internal communication by Emil Hurezeanu. The trust also plans to launch three more TV channels in Romania – in Iasi, Galati and Constanta, by this yearend. Realitatea-Catavencu is a privately held group of companies, founded in 2001 to pioneer a new standard of professionalism in television journalism
