All the trolleybuses in the municipality of Chisinau, which are in operation, were equipped with real-time monitoring devices, and the municipal authorities plan over two weeks to launch an online application that will be accessible for free.

The general director of the Chisinau Electric Transport Authority (RTEC), Dorin Ciornîi, contacted by IPN, has stated that the application that will allow online monitoring of the trolleybus location is being tested.

Installing at the stations of monitors that will indicate the waiting time of the trolleybuses represents the second stage of the project, said the RTEC director. Most likely, this will be possible already next year.

In other news, the director of RTEC has specified that the heating systems have been repaired in all the trolleybuses and passengers will not freeze any longer.
