The police discovered an illegal casino in the home of a 35-year-old man from Chisinau. To take part in a poker game, the clients had to pay by at least 1,000 lei. The man had by at least 10 clients a day, while the earned money was not indicated in official financial accounts, IPN reports.
According to the press service of the Chisinau Police Division, playing cards and casino tokens, draft agendas, computer systems and almost 100,000 lei were seized from the man’s apartment.
The man faces a fine of 20,000 to 40,000 lei or up to 200 hours of community service.
