Razeni lyceum has a renovated cafeteria

The canteen of “Ion Pelivan” Lyceum of Razeni village of Ialoveni district has been renovated and reequipped. The inauguration of the modernized cafeteria was attended by acting Prime Minister Iurie Leanca, IPN reports.

According to the Government’s press service, the renovation was performed after Iurie Leanca visited the lyceum three months ago and discussed the necessity of modernizing it with the institution’s administration. He then sought help from the Friendship Association Japan-Moldova-Ukraine, which donated over 700,000 lei for the purpose. Over 1 million lei was needed for implementing the project. Besides the Japanese association, the Ialoveni District Council and the lyceum also contributed money.

The mayor of Razeni Ion Cretu announced that the local administration plans to thermally insulate the building of the lyceum and to purchase a biomass boiler. The 5.2 million lei needed in this respect was already identified.

The lyceum in Razeni is attended by over 800 students.
