The Civic Forum “Pro Europa” on December 12 will stage a rally to sensitize society and the leaders of the Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM), the Democratic Party (PDM) and the Liberal Party (PL) to the necessity of forming a center-right ruling alliance. “We are concerned about the negotiations between the PLDM and PCRM that are now taking place. We want to draw attention to the need to restore the Alliance for European Integration and continuing its activities,” the Forum’s secretary Roman Mihaes stated for Info-Prim Neo. The rally will be held in the square of the National Opera House starting at 12.00. According to the founders of the Civic Forum “Pro Europa”, the efforts to integrate Moldova into the EU and modernize it can be continued only if the Alliance for European Integration that consisted of the PLDM – PDM – PL is reconstituted. Roman Mihaes said the leaders of the three parties are expected to come to the meeting to inform the voters about the results of the discussions held so far. The Civic Forum “Pro Europa” is composed of nongovernmental organizations and personalities from culture, arts and other areas who plead for European integration and Moldova’s democratization and modernization. The forum is chaired by Val Butnaru, president of Jurnal Trust Media.
