The Broadcasting Coordination Council (BCC) fielded Raisa Lozinschi and Alexandru Grosu for the posts of member of the Supervisory Board of the National Public Broadcaster "Teleradio-Moldova". The Parliament is to confirm them to posts. The decision was made on Friday, November 6, by six votes in favor, Info-Prim Neo reports. Raisa Lozinschi is a journalist, editor-in-chief at the newspaper "Jurnal de Chisinau", while Alexandru Grosu is the former director of Dacia Hotel. The BCC's chairman Gheorghe Gorincioi said the two have experience in the field and deserve forming part of the Supervisory Board. "Raisa Lozinschi is a very good, impartial and experienced journalist.” Alexandru Grosu has worked for 23 years at “Teleradio-Moldova”. He is a trustworthy person, said Carmelia Albu, a member of the BCC. Another BCC member Cornel Mihalache did not support the two candidates, saying only the Parliament can choose candidates. "Everyone is tired of manipulation at the public television. If I am confirmed by the Parliament, I will do my best and make sure that the public receives correct, truthful, impartial information,” sid Raisa Lozinschi. Alexandru Grosu said the manager must create conditions for the personnel of "Teleradio-Moldova" to become good specialists and professionals. He added that a public television must not beg. “We must find a solution together with the Government and I think that taking out loans from the bank is a solution as the broadcaster will depend on no one and will be able to acquire modern technology.” Besides Lozinschi and Grosu, the BCC also examined the following candidates: Ghenadie Gluşcenco, Iurie Ispas, Aurelia Balan-Peru, Alexandru Grosu, Gheorghe Lupusor, Sergiu Lupa, and Emanuil Plosnita.
