The State Weather Service issued a yellow-coded advisory warning for rainstorms in the second half of Tuesday and Wednesday early morning. Moldova's chief weatherman Ilie Boian told Info-Prim Neo that in the evening and overnight we should expect heavy rainfall with hail and wind gusts blowing at speeds of 15-20 m/s. “There is a cold front coming from NW which creates instability lines and which, in turn, cause rainfall and bad weather”, explained Ilie Boian. The advisory could be extended until July 12 and 13 when showers and lightning storms are expected. Rains will return starting July 16, bringing along a more significant drop in temperatures, down to 22°-28° Celsius.
