Rains will continue, but less intense
Rains will continue to fall across Moldova until the end of the week, but will be milder, according to weathermen.
Elina Plesca, vice-director of the State HydroMeteorology Service, told Info-Prim Neo that winds will also become less intense, after blowing in recent days with gusts of up to 20m/s.
Elina Plesca added that water levels in rivers were not posing any threat. However, the recent heavy rainfall with hail affected crops.
According to the Civil Protection Service, on Tuesday morning, June 28, thirty villages were still without power supply in the wake of high winds. More than 90 repair personnel were deployed to fix connections.
