The train routes via the Transnistrian segment, including the freight ones, will be fully restored. Prime Minister Vlad Filat and the Transnistrian leader Yevgeny Shevchuk signed an agreement to this effect in Tiraspol on Friday, Info-Prim Neo reports. “We agreed to work constructively. The customs control will be by mixed, performed by both of the sides. All the relevant conditions laid down by the Moldovan legislation will be fulfilled. As regards the guaranteeing of freight transport, there will be met all the international conditions,” said the Premier. “The activity of the work groups is productive. I hope this agreement will be implemented,” stated Yevgeny Shevchuk. The protocol decisions will be finalized in 30 days. The rail transport through the Transnistrian segment was stopped in March 2006. On October 1, 2010, the passenger train routes Chisinau-Odessa were restored.
