Radu Albot achieved a new great result this month. Moldova’s best tennis player won the Challenger tournament of Fergana, Uzbekistan, IPN reports.
In the final, Albot beat the competition’s favorite Konstantin Kravchuk 6-4, 6-2 in a match that lasted for 1 hour and 20 minutes. This was the fourth Challenger tournament won by Radu Albot in the singles and also the second trophy won in Fergana.
At the beginning of this month, the Moldovan tennis player won the Challenger tournament of Furth, Germany. For his play in Fergana, Albot gained US$7,200 and 90 points in the ATP rankings.
