Moldovan tennis player Radu Albot was allowed to contend in the main competition of the Roland Garros Grand Slam Tournament that is taking place in Paris. France’s 74th seed Geremy Chardy will be his opponent in the inaugural round, IPN reports.
Earlier this year, the two also met in Indian Wells, where Chardy won by 7-6, 6-2. A new encounter was scheduled for May 30.
Radu Albot now takes the 88th position in the ATP world rankings. In his career, he won 14 Futures tournaments and three Challenger tournaments. The 27-year-old player last year also competed in the first round of the main competition of Roland Garros.
