Radu Albot was easily beaten by Italy’s Thomas Fabbiano, World No. 131, in the semifinals of the Challenger tournament of Ningbo, IPN reports.
The Moldovan tennis player lost by 1-6, 3-6. Earlier, Albot, who occupies the 98th spot in the world rankings scored, three victories in two sets at the tournament in China.
In 2017, Radu Albot won the doubles of this tournament together with Jose Statham of New Zealand. This year the Moldovan athlete didn’t compete in the doubles.
