Radu Albot has qualified for the second round of the ATP tournament of Budapest. The Moldovan tennis player beat Ukraine’s Sergiy Stakhovsky, World No. 115, in two rounds, 7-5, 6-4, IPN reports.
In the next round on April 24, Albot meets Serbia’s Filip Krajinovic, World No. 105. Earlier this week, Radu Albot climbed to the 44th spot in the world rankings.
In the evening of April 23, Albot competes in the doubles together with Nikoloz Basilashvili of Georgia against the German pair Kevin Krawietz - Andreas Mies.
