Moldovan tennis player Radu Albot has qualified for the third round of the Grand Slam tournament Australian Open. The ATP No.132 beat the representative of the hosts Aleksandar Vukic, World No. 144, by 6-4, 7-6, 6-4, IPN reports.
In the third round, Radu Albot is likely to face Germany’s Alexander Zverev, who today plays against Australia’s John Millman. Albot also met Zverev at the US Open in 2019 and lost to him by five sets.
Last year the Moldovan tennis player also reached the third round of Australian Open after he eliminated Roberto Bautista Agut, World no. 13.
