Eliminated in the first round of Roland Garros, Moldovan tennis player Radu Albot went to the Czech Republic to compete in the Prostejov Challenger tournament. He made his debut with a victory and will play in the 1/8 finals of the competition, IPN reports.
In the first round, Albot beat Argentina’s 101st-ranked Facundo Bagnis 6-7, 2-6, 6-2. Today, June 6, Albot competes in the doubles together with Denis Molchanov. They play the Brunstrom/Nys pair.
Radu Albot, 27, is the 88th in the ATP world rankings. In his career, he won 14 Futures and three Challenger tournaments.
