Radu Albot was eliminated from the first round of the Roland Garros Grand Slam tournament. The Moldovan tennis player was beaten 6-2, 6-4, 7-6 by France’s 74th-seeded Jeremy Chardy, IPN reports.

The game lasted for two hours and nine minutes. Owing to the qualification for the main competition of the French Open, Albot won 10 ATP points and €35,000. Scotland’s Andy Murray is the favorite of the competition.

Radu Albot, 27, now takes the 88th position in the ATP world rankings. In his career, he won 14 Futures tournaments and three Challenger tournaments.
