After winning a sensational victory against Steve Johnson of the United States, who ranks 24th in the ATP world rankings, Moldovan tennis player Radu Albot failed to pass one more round at the ATP tournament in Stockholm,  IPN reports.

In the 1/8 finals, Albot, who takes the 103rd position in the ATP rankings, lost 6-7, 3-6 to Germany’s Tobias Kamke, who ranks 132rd in the world.

The 26-year-old tennis player hasn’t yet managed to win a tournament of the ATP series in singles. In doubles yet, Albot won the ATP competition in Istanbul last year, together with Dusan Lajovic of Serbia.

Radu Albot is the first Moldovan tennis player who qualified for the Olympic Games. At the Rio Olympics this year, he managed to pass one round.
