After eliminating one of the best Russian tennis players, Mihail Youzhny, at the ATP tournament in Gstaad, Radu Albot failed to beat Belgium’s David Goffin, world No. 13, IPN reports.

The Moldovan athlete started forcefully the match and won the first set 6-2. The next two sets were won by Goffin by tie-break 7-6, 7-6. In the decisive set, Albot led by 6-3, but didn’t manage to qualify for the quarterfinals of the competition.

Radu Albot, 27, now takes the 132nd spot in the ATP rankings.
