The Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office for the Transnistrian Settlement Process Ambassador Radojko Bogojević will visit Tiraspol and Chisinau on July 7 and 8. On July 7, Bogojević will travel to Tiraspol to meet with Transnistrian Chief Negotiator Nina Shtanski and Transnistrian leader Yevgeny Shevchuk. On July 8, Bogojević will meet with Acting Prime Minister Natalia Gherman in Chisinau, IPN reports.

According to a press release of the OSCE Mission, these meetings follow a visit to the region on June 30, when Bogojević met with Victor Osipov, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration and Moldovan Chief Negotiator. Two separate visits are being made to accommodate the travel schedules of the chief negotiators.

These visits form part of a series of meetings by the OSCE Chairmanship and Mission to Moldova with 5+2 partners, including in Kyiv, Moscow, Brussels and Washington, to discuss ways to boost the process.
