Radio-guided robot will disconnect flats with debts for water supplies

The director of „Apa-Canal Chisinau” JSC, Constantin Becciev has told Info-Prim Neo that for the first time in the Republic of Moldova, a radio-guided robot will disconnect flats that have debts for water supplies, while other apartments will be left untouched. According to Becciev, the robot is an achievement of the Ukrainian specialists. It enters the main pipe and travels until it reaches the pipe that supplies the apartment with debts and blocks the pipe. At the moment 6-7 apartments from Dacia Boulevard and Belinski Street that have gathered debts of over MDL 2 thousand are in line for disconnection. Constantin Becciev claims that the consumers with overdue bills will be disconnected from the water source after the financial status of the consumers is examined. Yet most market researches show that the biggest debts are accumulated by persons with considerable incomes, the quoted source stated. The reconnection to the water supplies will cost approx. MDL 2-3 thousand and all the expenses will be handled by the consumers of the disconnected apartments. By the end of August, the citizen owed „Apa-Canal Chisinau” GSC MDL 154 mil., while the overall debts towards the company are MDL 276 mil.
