Puzzle of 32 square meters in central Chisinau

A puzzle of 32 square meters was built in the square of the National Opera House “Maria Biesu” in Chisinau. It conveyed the message “I’m happy when you take care of me!”, while in the bottom left-hand corner there was the logo of UNICEF. In the lower part, the children who helped build the puzzle wrote different thanks messages and greetings. “It is very important for me to celebrate this day alongside the children because we are all children deep in our souls,” said Prime Minister Vlad Filat, who attended the event. “I wish the Children’s Day in Moldova to be marked every day because we have the wisest, most beautiful and most obedient children.” “We tried to make this day a holiday for the children from all over Moldova by organizing different events. We also focused on the idea of making happy the children from orphanages and those with disabilities,” said UNICEF Representative in Moldova Alexandra Yuster. The event included sports competitions and performances of music and dance. The students who successfully represented Moldova at different international contests were awarded. The event was organized by the Government of Moldova, the Chisinau City Hall and UNICEF Representative Office in Moldova on the occasion of the International Children’s Day.
