The National Unity Party (PUN) lodged the documents required for being registered as a contender in the snap parliamentary elections of July 11, 2021, IPN reports, quoting the CEC.
If only one candidate files the documents during one day, the electoral authority comes together to allot a number on the ballot to this. It was thus decided that PUN will be under No. 10 on the ballot. A final decision as to the party’s registration as an election contender will be taken during seven days.
The deadline for submitting applications to be registered as election contestants is June 11 this year.
