On Women’s Day, March 8, eight traffic police crews will be engaged in the operation going under the codename “Flower”, Info-Prim Neo reports. During the operation, the traffic officers will stop female drivers to offer them flowers and congratulate them. The officers will even close their eyes to the minor traffic violations committed by women, Tudor Capatina, the spokesperson for Traffic Police Department, has told Info-Prim Neo. About one quarter of drivers in Moldova are estimated to be women.
