On this Saturday and Sunday, March 21 and 22, the public transport in the municipality of Chisinau will be restricted. The buses and trolleybuses will run on routes from 7am until 10am and then from 4pm until 7:30pm only, IPN reports.

According to mayor general Ion Ceban, the measure was agreed following a relevant decision taken by the Single Command Center for managing the crisis caused by COVID-19.

Ion Ceban called on the persons not to go out, if only strictly necessary, and to respect the measures to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus.

As from March 23, the public transport in the capital city will work as usual.
