Public transport in Chisinau diverted

The Chisinau City Hall said changes were made to the public transport in central Chisinau following the blocking of Stefan cel Mare si Sfant Blvd by sympathizers of the Party of Socialists and the Political Party “Our Party”, IPN reports.

The trolleybuses that run on Stefan cel Mare Blvd towards Buiucani will travel up to the Great National Assembly Square, then along the streets Mitropolit G. Banulescu-Bodoni, Bucuresti and A. Shchusev and award according to the usual route. Towards Botanica: from Stefan cel Mare si Sfant Blvd along the streets A. Shchusev and Bucuresti and then according to the usual route.

The busses will travel to Buiucani from Stefan cel Mare Blvd along the streets Mitropolit G. Banulescu-Bodoni, Bucuresti and S. Lazo and then according to the usual route, while to Botanica - from Stefan cel Mare Blvd along the streets S. Lazo, Bucuresti and A. Pushkin and then according to the usual route.

The section of Stefan cel Mare Blvd between the streets Serghei Lazo and Maria Cebotari was blocked by sympathizers of the Party of Socialists and the “Our Party” in the evening of October 2. These put up tents on the roadway, blocking traffic.
