The Cabinet on August 3 approved the training program for public servants for 2016-2020, IPN reports. During the next five years, the short-term training courses that will be attended by public servants will be aimed at developing the professional skills and competences needed for doing their job.
The servants will also develop their capacities to formulate public policy and strategic planning documents, will improve their knowledge of foreign languages and will strengthen their managerial skills.
The development of the skills of public servants forms part of the public administration reform. The program worked out by the State Chancellery in concert with experts of the Twinning project “Support to the public service modernization in the Republic of Moldova in accordance with the best European Union practices” will be financially supported by the state budget and the development partners.
