The roof of a public place located at 6/1 Ion Creanga St in Chisinau burned completely last night. The fire extended to the roof of an apartment building located nearby, but this was less affected, IPN reports.

According to the General Inspectorate for Emergencies, the firefighters were called out at 02:27am. Eight firefighting teams struggled to contain the blaze. The fire was localized at 03:43am and was fully extinguished at 06:25am.

The rescuers evacuated the persons from the apartment building. No one was hurt. The cause of fire is to be found out by the Anti-Fire Experimental Laboratory.
