Public institutions of social importance will work on August 28, 29 and 30

The institutions that provide services of public interest and those with uninterrupted work program will work as usual during the upcoming mini-vacation. An order to this effect was signed by Prime Minister Pavel Filip, IPN  reports.

According to the Government’s press service, the public institutions of the health system on August 28, 29 and 30 will work according to the usual program, as will the multifunctional centers and territorial subdivisions of the Public Services Agency.

The Ministry of the Interior will take the necessary measures to maintain public order and ensure road traffic security. The Border Police will ensure the swift crossing of the state border, while the Customs Service will make sure the customs control is performed speedily. The public transport will also work uninterruptedly.

The Government declared August 28, 29 and 30 nonworking day, but the Saturdays of September 8, September 29 and October 20 will be workdays instead. Thus, together with this Saturday and Sunday and with August 27 and 31 that are public holidays, the budget-funded employees will have a nine-day vacation, from August 25 until September 2.
