Public information and services through electronic system
The Moldovan people can benefit from public information and services nonstop, while the authorities can ensure the transparency of governance through the Electronic Governance Center, which is an electronic system created by the Government. It was presented in the meeting of the Civil Society Press Club themed “Utilization of New Information Technology in Resolving Community Problems,” Info-Prim Neo reports.
The Center is responsible for the formulation and implementation of the e-Governance program that ensures the country’s sustainable development, and aims to reform the public sector by widely applying information and communication technology, improve the performance of the authorities, increase transparency at the state institutions and to promote digitalized services (e-Services).
Electronic services are developed mainly in such areas as education, healthcare, social protection and agriculture. The people can use the e-Services when needing certificates, applying to education institutions, making reports to the police, looking for jobs, registering vehicles and companies, etc.
