Public health is a priority of the social development policies of the Republic of Moldova, because if the citizens’ health is ignored, any other social or economic activities do not provide the expected result. This declaration was made by the speaker of the Parliament, Marian Lupu, at the 11th edition of the international “MoldMedizin & MoldDent” specialized exhibition. According to Lupu, the exhibition is a very important event, which will bring new items and improvements to the medical products and services market of the Republic of Moldova. The speaker announced he is certain that the exposition will aid in applying new technologies, techniques and equipment in the health protection sector. Marian Lupu mentioned that at present the quality of the medical services is influenced by three factors: the organization of this system, human resources, technical means and technologies used. According to the speaker, the organization of the medical system is continuously improving, and we also have qualified and skilled personnel together with a solid specialist training system. “The only problem consists in the technical means used in the public health system”, Lupu concluded. Over 100 companies producing medical and laboratory equipment, pharmaceutical and dental instruments from 16 countries will take part in the 11th edition of the exhibition in the “Moldexpo” complex during September 12-15. Specialized companies from Belarus, Bulgaria, Denmark, Germany, India, Iceland, Latvia, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, Hungary and the Republic of Moldova will exhibit their products. During this annual exhibition conferences and seminaries, as well as the 13th Congress of the Dental Association from the Republic of Moldova on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of activity of the Republican Dental Hospital will take place. The exposition is organized with the support of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, partnered by professional medical associations from the Republic of Moldova.
