A new square is to be built at 20 Colina Pushkin St in Chisinau. The General Housing and Amenities Division started the building works already, IPN reports.
According to the draft project, the alleys will be laid out, public lighting will be installed and benches and garbage bins will be placed.
There will also be put up a fitness ground and a playground.
“The given area had been neglected for many years. There were only several playground elements and chairs there, which were already worn-out and were therefore taken away,” stated the Division.
Investments in the project total about 1.6 million lei. The municipality contributed about 1.2 million lei, while the rest of the amount was allocated by the Embassy of Poland in the Republic of Moldova.
