Psychological and social assistance to children from funds raised during campaign
The fundraising campaign “Help Me Build a Future” is over. Thirty-five children will benefit from psychological and social assistance as a result of the campaign, Amici dei Bambini Association says in a communiqué, quoted by Info-Prim Neo.
The campaign was conducted between March and May. Those that wanted could put money in a box placed insider a shopping center in Chisinau. A sum of 6,620 lei was collected from buyers’ donations.
The campaign aimed to sensitize the people to the difficult situation of the children that graduate from state residential childcare institutions and have to face the difficulties of life by themselves.
“Amici dei Bambini thanks all those that lent a hand to the young persons that will graduate from residential institutions this year and to the Everest shopping center that supported us in this social initiative, housing the box throughout the campaign,” the communiqué says.
Working in Moldova for over 10 years, Amici dei Bambini initiated different cooperation projects aimed at promoting children’s rights to family and social integration.
