Adrian Albu, the candidate for mayor of Chisinau of the Party of Socialists (PSRM), promises a comfortable, green, inclusive and accessible capital city. The MP launched his election campaign at the rotunda in “Valea Morilor” Park, alongside mates from Parliament and the party’s administration, IPN reports.

Adrian Albu said that his team wants to continue the good and nice deeds started years ago in the municipality of Chisinau. He promised to open kindergartens, playgrounds and sports grounds and to provide activities for older persons in each district. Among the priorities, the candidate mentioned the greening and laying out of the city, combating of traffic jams, optimization of the health and social protection systems, involvement of the citizens in decision making, etc.

The president of honor of the PSRM Zinaida Grechanyi said that such launches are taking place in all the corners of the country. “It is important to reach every home. The inhabitants of Chisinau put their trust in us four years ago. They entrusted the management of the capital city and of the Municipal Council to us,” stated Zinaida Grechanyi.

The leader of the party’s parliamentary group Vlad Batrîncea noted that the Socialist team is the best, strongest, most prepared and devoted one. “For over ten years, we have stood by each resident of Chisinau. We visited each yard and helped hundreds and thousands of citizens to solve their problems,” noted the MP.

The PSRM’s executive secretary Igor Dodon, who heads the list of candidates for the Chisinau Municipal Council, said that the people will cast their ballots in exactly a month. “There will be tens of parties, tens of thousands of candidates. A lot of promises will be made. A lot of pressure will be exerted. But, dear citizens, I urge you to remember what each of those who will come after your vote did,” stated Igor Dodon.

According to the preliminary order, Adrian Albu will be under No. 10 on the ballot.
