PSRM supports Igor Dodon's speech at the UN General Assembly

In the speech delivered on September 26 at the UN rostrum, Igor Dodon had a constructive and balanced approach to the foreign policy of the Republic of Moldova. The statement was made in a press release of the Socialist Party of the Republic of Moldova, which says that the political party shares the president's approach, IPN reports.

"For the first time, the head of our state, in his address to the international community, spoke about the interests of the whole country and of the whole people, without dividing them based on geopolitical criteria", the statement said.

The quoted source mentions that the PSRM supports Igor Dodon "in his attempt to obtain the recognition and respect of the neutrality status of the Republic of Moldova, which gives us a chance to solve the Transdniestrian problem".

The PSRM press release expresses regret that some of the partners are trying to use geopolitics in matters that require a careful and scrupulous approach.

"The Republic of Moldova will be successful if we do not disturb the fragile political balance achieved in June," the PSRM statement said.
