The Party of Socialists (PSRM) and the Party of Communists (PCRM) signed the documents for forming an electoral bloc for the snap parliamentary elections of July 11, IPN reports.
“The National Council of the PSRM agreed on the necessity of signing for the formation of the Electoral Bloc of the Socialists and the Communists so that we together win the elections and ensure the responsible management of the country and offer the citizens order and well-being,” the Socialist leader Igor Dodon announced on May 12.
He noted that in the meeting they underlined that the sovereignty of the Republic of Moldova is in danger and the interests of the Moldovan people are subordinated to the interests of other countries, including plans to transform Moldova’s territory into an area of military maneuvers.
“Foreign factors, with the assistance of their political tools from Chisinau, want to impose a set of pseudo-values against the family and Christianity, which are inappropriate for our nation, on the citizens. The goal is to liquidate the Moldovan statehood, including by banning the Moldovan language. They aim to transform our county into a colony that would become a source of cheap labor force, cheap land sold to foreigners, etc.” Igor Dodon posted in social media.
According to the Socialist leader, in such conditions the members of the National Council of the PSRM agreed that the patriotic political forces that can win the elections and ensure professional and responsible governance in the interests of the country, not of other states should unite.
