PSL essays the unification of the liberal-oriented forces through creation of a wide formation
On the background of some political events, the Social Liberal Party (PSL) will try to unify the liberal political forces by the end of this year, the leader of the party, Oleg Serebrian, declared during a press conference organized on Wednesday, October 11.
According to Serebrian, there are all the premises that by the end of the year the liberal-oriented formations as well as the groups separated from other parties find themselves reunited into a single political faction. The PSL leader asserts that signals coming from exterior alert that the multiplying and fragmenting of the liberal politic group would be unproductive.
In the same context, PSL will organize, next week, a round table, as part of which it will reveal its concept of unification, the last one being, in the opinion of the party’s leader, different to the method of creation of blocs utilized till now in the R. of Moldova. At the same time, PSL will propose for discussion problems which concern the statute of the future formation and, if it is possible, will create an alliance among the participating parties.
In the R. of Moldova there are two parties in the Parliament representing the liberal political orientation – PSL and “Moldova Noastra” Alliance, as well as 2 extra-parliamentary formations – the Liberal Party and the European Party.
