Vice president of the Liberal Social Party (PSL) Cornel Ciurea has officially registered his candidacy for Mayor General of Chisinau municipality. Ciurea is the tenth candidate to run for this position in the elections scheduled for June 3. The Party of Communists will participate in the elections with the interim mayor Veaceslav Iordan. For the same office are running Ion Mereuta, the Humanist Party, candidate of “Moldova Noastra” Alliance Leonid Bujor, Vladimir Filat, representing the “Democrat Party”, Dorin Chirtoaca, on behalf of the Liberal Party, and Zinaida Zorin, Conservatory Party. On Tuesday 17, files were also submitted by Alexandru Corduneanu, on behalf of People’s Christian Democrat Party, Valentin Krylov, Electoral Bloc “Patria-Rodina-Ravnopravie”, and Eduard Musuc, on behalf of the Social Democrat Party of Moldova. The candidates can submit their files daily (excepting weekends), between 9.00 and 18.00, with the lunch break between 13.00 and 4.00. The office of DECMC is located in the premises of the City Hall.
